I have just bought a Cornsnake, maroon stripes
and he/she is lovely. The shop owner said all
the batch he had were very jumpy as they have
never been handled. They were born in June 2003.
I bought it today, when is best to start handling
it, will it ever be tame as he/she is a little
older?
Its about 15 inches long at present and quite
thin and very lively. When can I tell the sex
of it?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi and welcome. Handling it will be ok in a few days. If it hasn't been handled much before it will probably bite but at that size it allways makes me laugh...
