hi den
I noticed from the pic u have ur corn in a glass aquarium for a better word
what security have u got on the aquarium because as most other members will
tell you snakes are little escape artists i suggest (i no it all costs!)
that u by a decent lockable vivarium as aquariums can be unreliable by this
i mean a viv by the size of around 4x4ft and atleast 5 ft high any decent
setup will get you all of the equipment u will need ie HabiStat(temp) heat
lamp fittings etc! this sort of setup will usually cost u around £150.

I have just bought a Cornsnake, maroon stripes and he/she is lovely. The shop owner said all the batch he had were very jumpy as they have never been handled....

Hi and welcome. Handling it will be ok in a few days. If it hasn't been handled much before it will probably bite but at that size it allways makes me laugh...
