I would warn her now that this hobby is more addictive
than crack!! I think it's fair to say we all started
off with just the one and within a year or so were in
desperate need of detox after turning the house into a
zoo! lol
Godd luck with the books and the websites.
Most importantly have fun and enjoy your new little
friend.

I have just bought a Cornsnake, maroon stripes and he/she is lovely. The shop owner said all the batch he had were very jumpy as they have never been handled....

Hi and welcome. Handling it will be ok in a few days. If it hasn't been handled much before it will probably bite but at that size it allways makes me laugh...
