Unfortunatly the smaller lizards are not as easy to keep as some beginners think
i have kept and keep small reptiles.
I kept Anoles and they bread like no bodies business and the babys are so small
you wont notice them unless u really look hard it was weeks before i realised
just how many babys they had acutally had!
You are gonna be better keeping a Bearded Dragon they dont get the big at all
and they are socialable animals awake in the day and the night (occasionally).
Ive got two bearded and they are fantastic the ones fully grown male i can get
him out with out no fuss wht so ever.

Your best bet is to get in touch with a local rescue centre or reptile shop but
be careful of who your getting the lizard off as there is a lot of problems
where people are getting wrong information about them if you need any more help
you can always email me privately and i can take you through it.

My name is Alex, im 16 and come live in Devon. The animals in my
house are 1 dog, 3 cats, 2 fish, a dozen stick insect, 2 giant
african snails and 4 land hermit crabs.
I would like to get a lizard or two but I am finding it quite hard.
The problem is that I have to satisfiy my Mum's critier as she will
be the one who will have to look after it when I go away. Can anyone
tell me of any lizards that are smaller than a breaded dragon (she
asmost let me get one until she asked how big they get),diernal
(awake in the day), prefrably herbivore or omnivore, but not
essential, attractive looking or interesting and is good for a
beginner.
