I've found that Marigold & St John's Wort tinctures work wonders on
skin problems - helped to clear up a case of scale rot & other
nasties on a royal I rescued.

Both tinctures r availalbe from Holland & Barrets or other health
shops. Mix 1ml of both tinctures together & use to bath the whole
body. Chickweed oil also helps soften, protect & heal skin, it's
easy to make - use about 4oz of fresh chickweed (usualy found in the
garden as a weed) to 1/2 pint of veg oil, place both in a jar & leave
for 2-3 weeks, shaking daily, strain then bottle (watch out for water
at the bottom of the jar, don't get this in the bottle). Again use
all over body.
