It most certainly is a quiet group!
A quick question on feeding, I have a small Corn snake, now six years old
and 120cm long.
He is now onto small Rat's. How often do you recommend I feed him.
I've always fed cornsnakes once every 7 to 10 days.
They don't really need any more than that, in my opinion.
A second question, I am looking at getting a boa sometime. What size viv do
you
recommend I build for him.
It depends on the age/size of the boa.
They get pretty big as adults but if you're getting a baby, I'd recommend a
3ft long until it's outgrown. It should last quite a while. Otherwise, a 2ft
long, but it'll obviously need upgrading much much sooner. They're pretty
fast growers when they're young.
And lastly, one more. If you were going to choose a second snake what would
it be? Personal
I think a red tail boa would be a wonderful addition.
Richard.
I had a boa, but sadly she died, quite suddenly, not long ago. I'd love to
get another because, if Loki was anything to go by, they have such a wonderful
gentle nature.
I've been looking at western hognoses too. Also (not quite a snake but) blue
tongued skinks, but not until I have a bigger place to live because I
wouldn't have a great deal of room where I am now. I need to research more
about
them too.
