A quick question on feeding, I have a small Corn snake, now six years old
and 120cm long.
He is now onto small Rat's. How often do you recommend I feed him.
I've always fed cornsnakes once every 7 to 10 days.
They don't really need any more than that, in my opinion.

A second question, I am looking at getting a boa sometime. What size viv do
you
recommend I build for him.
It depends on the age/size of the boa.
They get pretty big as adults but if you're getting a baby, I'd recommend a
3ft long until it's outgrown. It should last quite a while. Otherwise, a 2ft
long, but it'll obviously need upgrading much much sooner. They're pretty
fast growers when they're young.

And lastly, one more. If you were going to choose a second snake what would
it be? Personal
I think a red tail boa would be a wonderful addition.

Richard.

I had a boa, but sadly she died, quite suddenly, not long ago. I'd love to
get another because, if Loki was anything to go by, they have such a wonderful
gentle nature.
I've been looking at western hognoses too. Also (not quite a snake but) blue
tongued skinks, but not until I have a bigger place to live because I
wouldn't have a great deal of room where I am now. I need to research more
about
them too.

Hi there

While we're all talking I've got a question on feeding too.
I've had my corn snake for nearly 6 years and up till now he's always been a
good feeder. Now though he hasn't eaten for 6 weeks. I've tried feeding him in
and out of his normal cage, at different times of day, and i've even tried
cutting into the mouse to entice him but no luck.
Any suggestions?

Becky
