Hi, Becky,
I have had problems twice, with feeding, so posibly not qualified to answer but
on those
occasions I have placed Oz (my corn snake) in a seperate tank thats nice and
warm. Taken
a mouse or rat and after its defrosted warmed it gently under his viv heater.
Once its warm
I placed it on top of the feeding tank and left it about 30 minutes. Normaly the
smell of
the warm mouse just out of reach does the trick. I then place it in the feeding
tank and
cover it up so its in the dark and leave him with it in the quiet for a couple
of hours. I
always feed now in the evening as he seems more active then.
If you normaly feed mice, try a rat or gerbil for a change, or something a
little smaller then
usual. At this point my wife has objected to the gerbil advice. She loves Oz
dearly but is
still not ok about his eating habits!

> I've had my corn snake for nearly 6 years and up till now he's always been a
good
feeder. Now though he hasn't eaten for 6 weeks. I've tried feeding him in and
out of his
normal cage, at different times of day, and i've even tried cutting into the
mouse to entice
him but no luck.
