enable me to try and understand how America has become
the target of such terrorist action.<br><br>My
question was an attempt to try and get a fuller
understanding of the history and events that have come before
this tragedy. <br><br>I most certainly agree with your
view that we should attempt to aid the Afghanistan
community and urge them to disown the Taliban regime,
however, I get the impression that they dont have the
power "to throw the terrorist Talibans out of their
country".<br><br>You seem unconvinced that the Americans (and the rest
of the world) have the power to subdue the
Afghanistan force. I am hoping that they do and that they use
tactical force as opposed to brute force in getting this
situation under control.<br><br>Todays news states that
Turkey has opened up its airspace to American forces and
allowed the US to use the military airbase in Turkey to
be utilised in this situation.<br><br>I am
travelling to Turkey next monday for a holiday so I will be
keeping a close eye on daily events and praying for
everyones sake that the US can deal with this situation
without any more loss of life.
