A group aimed at promoting and discussing Ulster-Scots culture, history and heritage. The Ulster-Scots are also known as the Scotch-Irish / Scots-Irish or sometimes Irish Protestants, Unionists or Loyalists. Ulster-Scots is also a dialect of the Scots language, the language of the famous Scottish poet Rabbie Burns, spoken in parts of Ulster, the Northern Province of Ireland. The group however is not limitied in anyway and is open to any topics of discussion but invariably the dicussion often centres around the events and politics of Northern Ireland. Topics often include discussion on issues such as Unionism, Republicanism, Orangeism as well as historical and cultural articles detailing Irish / Ulster and British history with a particular focus on the Ulster-Scots / Scots-Irish. Please note that this list is for ANYONE who wishes to discuss the above issues. Verbal abuse and/or sectarianism of either the loyalist or republican kind is NOT welcome. Constructive, intelligent discussion, arguments and opinion ARE welcome.
