Re: 24 Hour Party People movie

Hey, no worries.

At least the film is available to you guys. Sitting in my location in
America, I have to pray that one of the American film distributors
picks up "24 Hour People", and even then it might be at least two
years before I actually see it. The American film industry is
atrocious with independent movies. Many of them don't make it over
here and we don't see them at all. It's all about money, therefore,
quality goes right out the door. I will have to rely on the internet,
or I have to pull some James Bond shit to get the film. As it is, I
haven't even gotten to see "Iris", another British film, which has
Kate Winslet, my most favorite actress. As far as I know, only one
theater showed the movie in all of New York City!

We have corporate suits also controlling the creative license of
American movies so we are hip deep in crap like "American Pie II",
or "Van Wilder".

Sex, violence, and stupidity sells.

Why is it that we wind up in such places that we often wonder WHY we
are there?
