I wouldn't remaster Unknown Pleasures or Closer, they're perfect the way they
are. Reissuing them might be a good idea though.

I only wondered about Joy Division remasters as Echo & The Bunnymen
have had their back catalogue remastered and The Cure are having
their albums remastered and re-issued later this year.

I think if they were remastered, it should be done by barney, hooky and steve..i think only they could really remaster the sound without changing it in any...

yes i see what you mean...i think the vocals would be a problem in the remastering..although the album 'Permanent' is remastered and sounds ok in my...

There is a difference between remixing and remastering. Remaster's in their pure sense involes no remixing. ... let's ... a ... they ... perfect ... this ... ...
