I don't know what to make out of the Billy Corgan appearance...if it was just
for the attention, how comes they haven't released it as a single ? Especially
since 60 mph didn't do too well. The kids would have bought it for Billy.
Anyway, I think Get Ready was an improvement from Republic. The rockier sound
suits them. If they're willing to work on it it could be good. Barney isn't Ian,
but he knows that by now. I was glad he wasn't trying to copy him on Primitive
Notion. Let's just hope for no football songs this summer :).

I hope it'll sound like Primitive Notion too, as it was my favourite
track off Get Ready also...the track sounded so much like J/D, the
first time i heard it i expected Ian's vocals to come roaring in..it
felt odd hearing Barney's voice on such an (musically) intense track.
Hopefully it'll be a better all round album than Get Ready, which i
felt was ruined by the 'guest appearances' of Billy Corgan and Bobby
Gillepsie, a move which i think N/O did just to attrack attention
from today's alt. youth.
