I think Joy Division's choice of name was mainly down to Ian.
Whereas New Order's choice of name was made mostly on the part of Rob
Gretton.

Wasn't "New Order" named after Pol Pot's regime? I can't remember where I read that... I think JD/NO only have fascist references to challenge the audience,...
