I think the fact hollywood is making a movie about Ian is something
he would not have wanted.
He liked underground/independant things...of course, no-one but
people who knew him know the exact extent of his tastes but i'm sure
he would not like the fact that the history of his own personal life
is going to have mass exposure.

can't think of any actor who I think could portray Ian well enough
(I'm not a big film fan though). Perhaps a young or non-film actor
(theatre or something), but then the movie wouldn't make financial
sense, and I doubt the company's making it because they're Joy
Division fans...one of the things that I liked about 24HPP. that they
cast unknown actors in most of the roles. But 24HPP seemed like a
fan's project, and this doesn't. It's becoming a bit scary, actually.
