Dear Astronomy and Science friends,

Thanks to keep an eye on the local activity. THOUGH I AM NOT AGAINST ASTROLOGY
AT ALL. We are far fron local activity fielsd but we like such a watch so as to
monitor the reality of the understanding, AND THAT SUGGESTS THAT OUR
ASTRONOMERS HAS TO MUCH MORE WORK TO MAKE TO UNDERSTAND THE ASTRONOMY AND THE
SCIENCE AND SEE THE DIFFERENCE OF ASTRONOMY AND ASTROLOGY. Its true and many do
miss-understands the terms too. Not only that In 80's when I started
Astronomical activity in International Rotary in India - Most of masters of
Doctors and Engineers considered me as if I am doing my activity in the
ASTROLOGICAL fields. How those masters misslead themselves this astronomical
activity and could not understand ASTRONOMICAL activity.

Realy I cold not make what should I do! Should I CRY or LAUGH on these News and
reports? NOT ONLY THAT ZEE NEWS TWO DAYS AGO VENUS TRANSIT - THE SCIENCE NEWS
REPORTER SAID THAT - VENUS TRANSIT ON 8th JUNE - AND THAN SAID BRAHASPATI KA YE
NAZARA !!!!! HOW THAT CAN THE NATIONAL ZEE TV PROGRAMME CAN SAY THAT? AND ALSO
ON 7th ZEE news agin used the word astrology instead of ASTRONOMY and forget to
tell about 2012 VEnus transit and said Next transit will be only in next
century? though this may be wrong information source from astronomers.

So our astronomers do have great responsibility on their shoulders to create
all awareness for Astronomy - astrology and the subject of sciences and
astronomy with change in education system. Though we just be happy to say that
"we were so rich in Astronomy in our ancient time"

Hi everyone,
Just incase some of you have not noticed, Hindustan Times, dated June 9th,
in one of its reports says something like this "...Ameteur Astrologers
Association... helped the public....". The stupid reporter dose'nt know the
difference between astronomy and astrology! I plan to write to HT regarding this
and I hope you all do the same.Regards,
