Hi all, just newly joined this group. I was wondering whether any of
you have had indicator bulbs replaced with LED cluster items? And if
so had any trouble with them.
I tried getting some for my PX200, and the dude from my local
electronics shop said that depending on the relay system on your bike /
scoot etc. you may
get really erratic and fast blinking. Is he yanking my chain? Any PX200
owners heard of this? Thanks
Hi room,
I have just joined and not sure of protocol but here goes.

A few months ago I asked via this forum for help with my research,
taking place at the Transport Research Institute, part of Napier
University in Edinburgh. I promised when I asked for help to let you
know how it was going, and in keeping with that I have put a web page
up with a brief summary of my results so far. I am presenting a paper
on this to the DfT in April, after which I will put some more
information on the web.
Thanks for the help

I have just purchased my first Vespa and i love it.
Because I got it second hand it does need a bit of work for instance
the seat needs covering, the is no quick stand and I don't seem to
be able to get the immobiliser to work - there is definitly one
fitted.
I live in Wolverhampton, UK - can anyone recommend a place where i
can get all this work done?
I wouldn't mind getting it re-spayed either.
Safe and happy riding

PS. I am looking for ska, skinhead, northern soul and scooter related
dvds if anyone can help ??
I recently bought a 10 year old second hand PK 50 Xl Vespa from a
german lady, as I haven't passed my test I didn't start it often.
After a few days of not running it It didn't start at all, in the
beginning it gave a faint whirring noise and now it will not make
any noise whatsoever. My brother and I used starter cables but to no
avail. We have no idea of what to do next. Please, any suggestions
will be much appreciated.

Hi there Vespa maniacs
I live in Africa and am thinking about getting a GT200.
Yeah I know some Vespa purists sneer at this new-breed machine.
But I wanted your honest feedback before committing myself
and perhaps looking around for an older Vespa or an ET4.
Not being able to carry a spare tyre is worrying - what solutions do
you suggest?
Keep well and ride safely

Firstly I would like to thank all those who helped with the on-line
questionnaire over the last few weeks, I am currently analysing the
data and comparing it to other datasets, I will publish the results
on the website once I have finished.
I am now in need of some feedback with regards to risk and
enjoyment. The link below will take you to a page of 6 pictures,
which can be rated in terms of risk and enjoyment. I would be
grateful if you could spare a few minutes to fill in this
questionnaire – these results are being used to try an advance biking
safety.

Hello all
I just passed my test on a (borrowed) T5 yesterday and am overjoyed
at the prospect at doing legally all the things I've been doing
illegally anyway.
Only one downside. I found the T5 a much more pleasurable ride at
speed than the PX125 disc I have at the moment, but can see that the
T5 is not as well made for the inner city commuting which I mostly
use it for.
What can I do? I could trade my PX for a 200, or I could modify my
existing PX. But how?
What would you, the experts, suggest.
All the best.
