Ah, thanks for feedback, there's bound to be detail missing.

The draining stage in the stainless steel strainer followed this pattern:

Started 2 July, about noon then:

Date/time Weight bowl plus honey (kg)
2 July 17.10 3.144
2 July 21.00 3.288
3 July 09.00 3.370
3 July 19.30 3.404

So it was barely worth giving it the extra day.

The temperature was about 23C on 2 July and 21C on 3 July.

You're welcome, Fritz. Herr Klindworth allows the colonies to swarm and catches the emerging swarms in specially made nets attached to the skeps. He hives them...
