As I said before, the site can be made to look right easily enough. Its just
a matter of the little touches and the site has a lot more to it than just
the village. It is, however, a last resort...

Any and all details of any sites welcomed...

The naming would be only part of the event - one of several excuses as to
why the players were there. It all comes down to 'reasons why I am there'
for many players. The last planned Dagdan event (the Wedding) did not happen
because not enough players beleived that they had a good reason to be there.
So, I intend to have many reasons for this one - one of them possibly being
the Naming. Though this is just one of several options. There will also be
other 'reasons why we are there' - some of which will apply to other
players. There will also (as usual) be some 'surprise plot' going on which
you will not know about until you get there. You see, it would be foolish to
advertise an event as 'The shock assasination of Blaidd y Triskelli by an
evil Quain Dyr disguised as Lughnan' where the players are there to witness
the killing and have to investigate it. It sorts of defeats the purpose of a
plot being a surprise :)

Some of the surprise plot does indeed involve Screams... :)

David

From my perspective, the Dagdan culture and ceremonies have had a good outing on its nature and its feel, this would technically be the 3rd Dagdan ceremony...

I agree with Mike that an urban paintball site would be fantastic. The problem is the cost - with 15-20 players we dont have a particularly high budget...

The cost I have for an urban site so far is £25 per person and that is assuming 100 people at the event - 4 times more than we often have. This would mean...
