Hi all,
According to the weather reports it is likely to be VERY cold this weekend.
Friday is listed as -4/5 degrees so you may want to put your brass monkeys
away. There is a high chance of snow.
I strongly advise that you all bring warm and wet weather clothing and extra
blankets etc. The huts are heated and I don't plan to have you wandering too
far away from the hut (a couple of forays into the woods, maybe, depending
on what you plan to do IC) but nothing too long.
We are also allowed to have fires out on the field so long as they are above
ground - altar fires, braziers etc - so those playing combat characters (and
therefore likely to be stuck out in the cold and dark for hours on guard)
may want to bring a BBQ, brazier or similar.
There will be hot tea and coffee and hot chocolate available for all players
and crew. Does anyone want anything else warm food/drink wise provided,
perhaps to cover special preferences/allergies?
David
