I suggest 10am at my house to begin with -- that's at 2 Cherry Tree
Cottages, Westminster Rd, Brynteg, Wrexham, LL11 6DL.
The entrance to the park is next-door-but-one to me. We can look at a couple
of different potential locations en route to the dodgy grey wasteland site
(which is maybe a 10 minute walk from my house).
Alternatively we could meet in the car park at the park itself -- this is at
Poolmouth Road, LL11:

That would give us less distance to carry kit, as well as provide more car
parking space, but would mean no cups of tea for those waiting for
latecomers (which is inevitable, given LRP-time and all).
My phone number is 01978 754 106.
Anyone wanting directions from the nearest station (Wrexham General or
Gwersyllt) should email me and I'll try to sort you out -- either way you
have to go through the park, though, so may prefer to meet us all at the car
park.
Er, what should we bring? Well, whatever you think you'll need; I'm NOT
organizing this by any stretch of the imagination, just pointing you all at
the location, providing cups of tea, and fighting Sam in a hammy Mexican
Wrestler style. ;)
I'll have a few LRP weapons for myself, but I have NO camera equipment, nor
any MMA gloves (I do have bag gloves but they're quite cheap and would
probably hurt if used to hit anyone with). I do have a gum guard and cricket
box, and a boxing-style headguard if need be (though I think the latter
would look pretty naff).
Oh I suggest people bring picnics too... there are some ace picnic places in
the park. More rugged individualist types could bring air rifles & maglites,
and arrive pre-dawn for "lamping" rabbits; or fishing rods, and anticipate
catching lunch at the lake between takes (and legging it if anyone asks
about a permit).
