Hi

A nice day for race itself. I think all runners will agree the course was hard going. I personally struggled after the 10 mile mark to get any speed going, any other day I would of made the two guys who finished in front of me work for their places.

Any how Gurmal did well around 1hour 21 mins and claimed 3rd place and 25 quid! I started in the the 'elite' wave with Gurmal and done 1hour 23 min, which is closely followed or beaten by Ben who was around 1hour 24 but the offical results will tell by the look of his pace across the line I recon he beat me. Malc was sub 1 hour 30 can't remember his time but it was similar to last year.

Di completed in an excellent 2 hour time but unfortunately the organisers did not have any age cat prizes.

Well done all will post club runners time on the web when I get them. Report completed in prada resturant bham after too many beers! Happy days
