Congratulations to Mac and Dave for New York.
Has anyone else done any races Tell all
I ran the Roaches 15 mile fell race Sunday
slightly faster than an injured slug then
I fell, pride and body only slightly damaged.

hi guys got back safe and sound fri morning at 0600
had a great time in ny
as for the marathon we did it in a time of 3.31.02 and in a pos of
4429/30 dave 1st not bad for a race of over 37000
much harder than london

It's not often I say something complimentary about my previous club,
but they did have an interesting way of generating new members that
produced results. I will bring this up at the next meeting so everyone
can discuss it.

after the AGM of the "Track & Field" last night, West Brom have
transfered to the NORTH division.   Which includes Cannock Sutton
Tamworth & Stoke amongst others!

I can't see where we are going to get new members from.

Any suggestions?

My free paper " The great barr observer" is always running stories
about Birtchfield harriers. I don't know how were going to compete
with that!

We could print off some posters and put them in the local libraries,
sports centres ect.....?

Business cards,...........we could hand them out at fun runs to people
who are not wearing club vests.

Let's put our heads together and get this club back on the map!

We need to think bigger, lets have a flag up races so everyone knows
were there.

How about matching shorts to go with the vest?

i hope everyone will chip in with some ideas.

Have you seen them?

Click the links button on the left.

Should provide you with a clickable link to the D&K photo page for our
5K race.

Didn't work when I tried it, but if you cut and paste the address into
your address bar at the top of the scren - you should get there.

Use the links facility to guide members to useful web pages, training
info, race entry details, cheap shoes, etc...

Great turn out 20+ members.

I only have email addresses for the members on the laminated list given
out at the AGM.


I've not started a Yahoo Group before, so might take me a little while
to get used to running things. Should be far easier than maintaining a
web site.

As group moderator I'm the only one who can change the home page, group
email address, etc.. Can someone email me a decent photo that can be
put on the home page?
