Description

This Group is intended to provide a forum for news and discussion relating to wildlife and the environment in West Somerset. It is not in any way affiliated to any wildlife agency or society but it is hoped organisations will use the site to advertise events and pass on information etc.

NOTE: YOU NEED TO JOIN THE GROUP TO TAKE FULL ADVANTAGE OF ALL THE FACILITIES SUCH AS FILES, PHOTOS AND LINKS.

A Programme of wildlife events is given in the Files Section - click "Files" in the menu on the left.

Members are encouraged to take a full part by sharing news and views in words and pictures.

Please respect copyright laws.

AN IMPORTANT CAVEAT. Please avoid revealing sensitive information (intentionally or accidentally) e.g. the exact location of a nest of a rare bird. Remember that poachers and rare plant collectors trawl the internet for clues to help them in their illegal activities.

THE WEST SOMERSET AREA GROUP OF SOMERSET WILDLIFE TRUST now publishes a monthly NEWSLETTER available by eMail only. To register email to dixon.minehead@btinternet.com and simply ask to be added to the distribution list.
