Hi, I am Sam. Newbie. Wannabe contributor. Confused participant.
You have the discussion site here (thumbs up);
You have a database over there (points to unit.org.uk);
You have a dormant graphics group over there (points to whoconcord2)
You have a few feeder sites (continuity cops, newapocrypha etc.).
And yet there's no debate going on.
IMO a group like this needs something to chew on to make things
happen. even though single entries are (surely) easy to do. This
group has a bunch of interested members (as many as I've seen on
other sites), but it hasn't agreed structure, process, content etc.
There is another project - on wikipedia - that's forging ahead in a
similar vein, wut which seems to work in splendid isolation to this
project, despite *very* similar goals. Plus its done under creative
commons, which means its in the public domain!!!
Why not join forces and invite a few wikis along to share what they
have. Or at the very least post a wiki article as a starting point
and lets attack it with gusto :)
I think the guy who leads the wikiproject is called khaosworks - why
not try to get him involved?

... Fair enough. I had a brief exchange either via e-mail or via Outpost Gallifrey with whoever was mostly responsible for the UNIT entry, where he said that ...
... Odd, that, since I'm the one mostly responsible for the UNIT entry. :) I honestly don't remember telling you that (I do recall telling you your UNIT files...

... OK, let's start making some decisions then. See my other posts for a summary of where we've got to so far. We're aiming for the Gallifrey volume to go...
... Sounds good to me :-) Since we'd talked earlier about the Target novelizations, I'll pick the Target versions of Deadly Assassin and Three Doctors -- and...
