As the article suggests, it's not just that these peopel are anti-
evolution, they are anti-Scoence, anti-logic ... no coincidence that
the countries with greatest numbers of adherents of fundamentalist
religions have the greatest numbers of anti-science proponents.
Evolution is the easiest target because it clearly contradicts Genesis
*but* the old testament also contradicts basic physics, chemistry ...
and logic ....
