Thanks for the info Roger - I strongly support the petition in
support of the Hunting Act (which should be extended and
strengthened, not repealed). However, just clicking on the
link does not open up the petition page - my browser assumes
that the terminating '*' is part of the URL, so it should just be:

Despite the widespread support for the Hunting Act in the
country as a whole I will be very surprised if the pro-Bill
(anti-hunting) petition gets more votes than the anti-Bill
(pro-hunting) petition because when it comes to
online/telephone/
documented that the hunting lobby are very well organised with
email and telephone networks to ensure that they get their
vote out - "vote early and vote often". And all such polls
are wide open to abuse, as is our wildlife, sadly.
