Subject: [birdwatching_UK] Watch out for Finch Disease
Some finches in gardens, especially greenfinch, have been affected by a disease caused by a tichomonad parasite. Birds with the disease show signs of general illness, lethargy and fluffed up plumage, they could also drool saliva, regurgitate food or have difficulty swelling, show labouring breathing or have a swollen neck.
Please keep feeders and water baths clean.
