Hello all,
As requested i will be bringing my laptop and camera to the next
training day, if people have those little removable storage sticks
that plug into the usb port then please bring them as my cd does not
have a wrighter, mpegs are also usefull to see how the setup is made
and you can view it with your coach on any pc or palmtop.
Also i am looking into the mental side of shooting that usually gets
overlooked and bringing with me various exercises for people to try!
Good luck and happy shooting!

Yes i can save them to disk as i told Mary that i would do just that
when the subject was raised.
Also i have had sight raiseing blocks made at work for another 12mm
in height for the fron and rear sights, i have also made a dortable
laser device to attach to the barrel for training purposes, i will
post a picture of it for you to look at very soon!
I can also bring my lap top and digital camera to the next session,
i also have a camcorder if needed?
I have rebuilt my rifle tonight and feels better so i can take it to
the range and give it a run, i will use the exercise also when im
happy with rifle you gave us to do.
Happy shooting!

If you're gonna be there for 9 you'd better get the keys off Tony so
you can open up & get the heat (and the kettle) on.
The ref to coaches was for existing squad members.
If you're into Pistol you need to let Trevor haynes know.
If it's rifle there's some other bloke, Nigel something or other.

Thanks for this Nigel!
Its very true and this kind of publicity needs to be shown to the
public as they only understand what the media tell them and are
programmed to think all shooters are ticking time bombs?
As shooters we all have from time to time been the subject of, "Oh,
your a shooter, your a nutter" Im tired of trying to explain to these
biased or more accurately single dimesioned individuals and they need
to be eduacted to understand the facts.
Our sport is under threat from ignorance perportaraited by a media
induced histeria!
Is this video clip going to be displyed on terestrial tv?

Take a look at

All the rules & the amendments are there and can be downloaded as pdf
files
FOR FREE!!!!!
I like the adjustable 'cross hair' type sights too as you can set the
cross hairs for your own angle of 'cant'.
The Centra ones are good & if you speak to Ian Shirra Gibb at Centra UK
www.centra-uk.co.uk
he'll make sure you get the right one.
Just make sure you screw it far enough into the foresight tunnel so
you don't exceed the overall length for the foresight assembly (50mm)

I am looking into one of my books in my library that concerns Pilates
and on perusing through this book i have noticed that there may be
some advantige in certain exercises that will benefit shooters both in
strengthening the back in the standing and prone positions and for
general suppleness and endurance with the Pilates ethod of breathing
while doing said method!
This book is "the complete Classic Pilates Method" isbn 1-4050-0558-0.

The Yuryev book is still looked on as the 'Target Shooters Bible'
even though it has been around for years. I believe it is still in
print. I think it's called "Competetive shooting by AA Yuryev" and
is available from the NSRA.
(Reminds me, must get my copy back from the person I lent it to.
They've only had it for about 4 years!!!)
As far as the stand is concerned, I think you're right. So long as
you don't encroach on the adjacent shooters space you're OK.

There are plenty of airgun clubs in and around London, especially if
you are talking about 10m air rifle/pistol.
Your local library will have a list, as will your local police
station.
The NSRA have a club finder service at

Well I am a beginer shooter, and have only had the chance to shoot
an air rifle in the countryside at a friends. But I live in the
center of london, so I cannot pop off to cumbria to do so often
enough to become any good at the sport, and it doesnt seem that
there ere any shooting clubs in the center of london.
But, I will be going to Wolverhampton in a week or so, and I shall
have a look@ Aldesley.

I do not believe i have seen this book as the only information i have
is from Heinz Reinkemeier and Gaby Buhlmann, also William (Bill)
Krilling. Autogenic conditioning tape i have is currently being
transferred to cd eventually! Plus various Visualisation, meditation
books that can be incorperated to the shooting disaplines.
As you said, shooting trousers are a good thing and provide support
but i train at home dry firing and fine tuning without the trappings
of extra kit as its my opinion that if you cannot acheive a decent
technique without the gear how then the gear wont help very much.
Perfect the inner postions and only then look without! because if you
are not comportable then this will culminate into dought and that is
unproductive in a competition mindset!
Just a question, rifle stands.....is it ok to use a tripod as i dont
have a special shooting stand just a home made thingy, are they still
ok to use as im not sure if they may have been ruled against and if
not is it ok as long as the legs dont incrouch into the next shooters
lane room?
Andy
Alek, if you've not already done so, join a club with target airgun
facilities.
You won't find many proper 'target' airguns in sporting
shooting/outdoor sports shops.
In a club there'll be plenty of trading going on & also the option
on trying various makes & models so you can narrow down what you're
looking for.
If the club ia affiliated to the NSRA, there'll also be club
magazines around with classified sections.
If you're prepared to tell us a little more about yourself, what
shooting you're doing & where, we may be able to help you.

Hey Alek,
If you dont live very far away from the NISC at Aldesley Wolverhampton
there you can find a notice board if they still have one, shooters
sometimes post For Sale signs to sell rifle n stuff when they upgrade,
maybe you might find something or call Tony Taylor then he could tell

I believe the calibre your looking for is .177" as any other calibre
cannot be used in air rifle target shooting, im assuming you know this
and im not trying to make out that you dont know!
