Radio production training course in Camden, starting Wed 13th, 5.15pm

radio production training course on 6 Wednesday evenings in Camden
(NW1). There are some spaces available, so book now.

The first session is TOMORROW (Wed 13th October), 5.15pm till 7.45pm.

Camden Central Radio
Course B: Basic radio production - Oct/Nov 2004
Length: 6 sessions on Wednesday evenings
Dates: Wed 13 and 20 Oct, 3, 10, 17 and 24 Nov 2004
Time: all 5.15pm -7.45pm
Venue: South Camden City Learning Centre, Charrington Street, NW1
Tube stations: Euston or Mornington Crescent).

Course content will include:
- interviewing techniques
- using portable recorders
- vox pops
- recording
- organising your material/basic editing
- introduction to digital editing
- using the desk/speaking live on air
- planning a short magazine programme

The course will finish with an 'as live' broadcast for the website
Trainees will also discuss ideas for programmes and programme
material, including ideas developed from local groups, for
broadcasting on Camden Central Radio

Cost: free to Camden Central residents, and to those working or
studying in the area - fee for others to be discussed
individually/could be 'in kind' time or support.
