BTWSC One Day Music Business Course & Showcase



Calling all budding singers, MCs, producers, managers, label owners
and club promoters: Welcome To Harlesbridge!



Pan-London voluntary organisation BTWSC in association with
BritishBlackMusic.com/Black Music Congress continues its community
cohesion sessions in London's North-West Harlesbridge (Harlesden &
Stonebridge) environs by presenting a free, one-day music business
course, followed by showcases by participants and up & coming artists.
There will be a special performance by Harlesbridge rapper Slim Dutty.



"Whilst it's open to anyone, we are hoping that it will be an
opportunity for participants to learn about the music industry, and
also to discover some of Harlesbridge's musical talent," says BTWSC
co-ordinator Ms Serwah. (Although it's a local event, people from
other areas are welcome to participate. Regarding showcase, lyrics
must be conscious and non-parental advisory.)



It takes place Saturday Feb. 26, 3-8pm at Bridge Park Complex,
Brentfield (Harrow Road), Stonebridge Park, NW10. Bus 18, 112,
Stonebridge Park tube/train station.

Notes:

BTWSC is a pan-London voluntary organisation which uses the creative
arts to develop individual potential and advance social inclusion.



The name is taken from the initials of its first project: 'Beyond The
Will Smith Challenge', a competition which encouraged young people to
write a song, poem or article that was uplifting and devoid of swear
words.
