This course offers intensive professional English language and
communication skills and specialist support and guidance to refugee
nurses and midwives looking for employment.



Participants will improve their English and IT, meet with NHS
professionals, have support with registering with the Nursing
Midwifery Council, write a competitive CV and application form,
practise interview skills and much more...



Eligibility:

- refugee status (or ELR/ILR);

- qualified as a nurse or midwife overseas

- wish to work as a nurse or midwife

Assessment Day:

Tuesday 12 April, 10.30am at Canalside House



This course offers intensive professional English language and
communication skills and specialist support and guidance to refugee
healthcare assistants and care workers looking for employment.



Participants will improve their English and IT, meet with NHS and Care
professionals, write a competitive CV and application form, practise
interview skills and much more...



Eligibility:

- refugee status (or ELR/ILR);

- experience of working in a care setting

- wish to work as a HCA or Care Worker





Jobsearch Skills for Doctors

6 - 23 June 2005

4 days a week: 9.45am-2.15pm

Venue to be confirmed



This course provides specialist support and guidance for gaining
employment as a doctor in the UK.



Participants will have the chance to meet with NHS professionals,
write a competitive CV and application form, practise interview skills
and much more...



Eligibility:

- refugee status (or ELR/ILR);

- qualified as a doctor

- passed your PLAB exams
