Please see a shot summarry of what happened that 27th Midland Area Conference which was held held last Sunday - 26th April 2009 at the Plough & Harrow Pub.
Motion concerning the financial Management of national tier of Plus where discussed at the conference which will be decide by the NEC meeting in May at their meeting.
Motion One - Agreed
Motion Two - The conference was unsure what was proposed by Bradford group but it was agreed so long it was to reduce the Bank mandate in the constitution to what the bank allows
Motion Three - Rejected - Midland area believes the current arrangements is working well and see no reason why it should change.
Motion Four - Agreed
It was agreed to close the Leamington Spa group from the next conference once the last membership has expired.
Midland Area had a short debate about strictly enforcing the age limits in Plus and perhaps raising a motion at the next AGM so that everyone over 50 in Plus moves over to Quest and there is a upper age limit in Quest of about 65.
