Hi All,

As I read the messages, Will's cheerful voice makes me put out a topic: humour
in vocabulary development, and in language teaching in general.

I may already have mentioned this in this forum or another in connection with
grammatical examples or explanations, but I've never got too many answers....

As I think WS is especially great at suggesting a wide range of free
associations - just think of the My Words column - I wonder how much you think
funny or even nonsense word connections help students to improve quickly and
without serious pain. Have you got any experience(s) about this?
