Hi everybody,

Just to let you all know that I've had contact with Betty.
She's had flu. Hope you're feeling better Betty. Speak to you all on Sunday.
Hope you can make it.
Hi guys

Was nice chatting to you Anne! I did mention that my real name
was Jill but not sure if I was still chatting!!

Hope to see you all
Sunday!
Hi everybody. Destiny caught up with me today
while I had my Yahoo Messenger on. Had a bit of a
chinwag. She has 2 young children so our meeting time on a
Sunday is a bit awkward. We thought we might try and
change it to 2pm UK time which is 9pm WA time. This is
fine with me. How about you? By the way Betty,
Destiny's (I've yet to find out her real name) in-laws live
in the same town as you. Anyway, let me know what
we're going to do about our Sunday chats.
I will try to make it Sunday would love to chat to fellow past WRAC members.....
even though I have a memory like a sieve!
Hope to meet you all there!
Hi Destiny,

If you want to join the Sunday
Chat, we normally log on at 11.00 am UK time. I believe
you live in Western Australia, like me. That's 6.00
pm Perth time. Hope you can join us on Sunday.
hi destiny good to hear from you hope you holiday
was a good one, well we chat on sunday morning at 11
am, gmt. if you click chat on the WRAC page you will
get straight in. hope to hear from you this
week.
kate
Hi Kate
I probably missed the chatting this Sunday we have just got back from
2 weeks in Sydney.
Will try and make it next time... do you chat
in
yahoo?
Hi to everyone else!
I'm in a meeting at 11.00am this morning
(Tuesday). What about trying at 1.30pm UK time or is that
too late for you. I'll try again on Thursday anyway,
at the same time (11am) as I'm sure you told me that
you won't be around on Wednesday.

Ann
Sorry Betty,

I got knocked off again and
by the time I got back you had gone. I'd hate you to
think that I'd just gone off without saying I was
going. I'll look in every morning around 11.00am our
time even if it's just to say hello.

Ann
hi destiny well i thought i'd let you know that
we have a small group who have a chat on a sunday
morning, we have ann williams from uk and betty from perth
australia feel free to join us next sunday morning at 11am
gmt hope to hear from you then take care
kate
Hello Ann, I was having difficulty my end too.
You were still shown as "in the chatroom" when I
finally logged out. I find that Sunday is not the best of
days to be on the net - I always have trouble and
everything is sooooo slow. It's a pity we have such a time
difference - it makes it difficult to find a mutually
convenient time. Let's hope we have better luck next week.
Well, it's 12.15 on Sunday and I've finally
managed to log back on. Sorry about losing you Betty.
Hopefully next Sunday will be better. It was nice to be
able to talk to you and to Kate.

Ann
Hello Kate, This is Betty from Western Australia.
I had a chat with Ann last night (morning your
time) and we've arranged to chat again 11 am UK time on
Sunday. Maybe you could join us? Regards, Betty
Hi Betty,

It was great to chat with you
today even if it was only for a few minutes. I'm
looking forward to Sunday when we can have a right good
old chin wag. Maybe if we are lucky the other members
will be able to join in. It's a pity about the time
thing though. It wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't working
but maybe we can make it a regular weekend natter.

Speak to you Sunday 11.00am UK time. Which I understand
will be 6pm Perth Western Australia time.

Ann
Hi ann, It's Betty again. I've been playing
around with this and it seems you live in the UK. The
time difference is about 8 hours (unless you're in
double summer time). I don't work so if you can give me
some idea of when you will be in the Chatroom on
Sunday, I'll log in then. If you are in the UK, it will
have to be some time on Sunday morning your time. I'll
get this right yet!! Regards, Betty.
If the register you mention is the official WRAC Register, I am already on it.
I actually found an old friend from about 45 years ago from using it. Regards,
Betty
Hi Ann, I maybe should have mentioned that I live
in Perth, Western Australia. Where are you? There is
bound to be a time difference, unless you are in WA
too. Looking forward to hearing from you again. Betty
Hello Betty,

Thanks for your email. I
didn't look in today until 2.45 so I've only just seen
it. Tomorrow (Friday) I'll make a point of logging in
at 11.00am.

Chat is very easy to use. You
just click on the word Chat underneath the Our Pages
on the left hand side of the screen. You just wait a
bit and then it will tell you that you are in the
room and the names of anybody else in the chat room.
You then just send messages to each other. It's a bit
like sending an email but it's practically
instant.

By the way I don't think you're old enough to be my
mother. I'm 54. I don't normally admit that, but it's
easy to work out. I joined the WRAC in 1964.

I
look forward to speaking to you.

Ann
Hi Ann, I do log in most days but have never
joined a chat so I'm not sure how it works. I normally
log in during the morning - say 10-12 am.
I'm
willing to give it a go if you don't mind chatting to
someone probably old enough to be your mother!! We do at
least have our days in the WRAC in common.

Kind
regards, Betty
hi all well it's kate here i,m usualy on the net between 6 & 8 pm so i'll keep
looking in to see if anyone else is there looking forward to hearing from you
all
I'd just posted my last message when I had a
thought. I've noticed that I have a look in almost every
day and so does Betty. If you let me know your usual
time Betty I can log in at the same time and maybe we
can start off the chatting session.

Ann
Hi Kate,

I'm willing to log into chat at
anytime apart from after 11.00pm and before 6.00am UK
time on any day of the week. That's so I can get some
sleep before I go to work. So if someone wants to set
it up just let me know.

I don't know about
the nice weather and the tan Kate. It does nothing
but rain here in Sheffield lately. It has been quite
warm though.

Looking forward to speaking to you
all.

Ann
