Hi All,
Just joined, did not know of this forum, hope to be able to
contribute to any debate or research! Extremely interested in the
wreckage on the beach at Apley. Somewhere in my files I think (a
middle-aged slightly disorganised mind) that I have reports of
aircraft having been shot down during the Second World War!

Perhaps you have already solved the mystery, if not I would like to
join the hunt for info etc. Have you recovered the wreckage or is it
still there!

I live on the mainland opposite the Island so most of research is
about the area. A lot of which has been about War Graves of the area.

Look forward to any response to my letter, keep up the good work.
