Hello everyone. I have been and talked to the locals and one of the
land owners in wales with Denis Deaves. we inspected the site and
found a fair few parts, new information is that the tail section was
left in the other field along with many more parts, the second field
is to be dug also. after a sweep of both fields, we found numerous
targets, some up to a metre or more long. it appears to be lined
with a thin slate layer which after a few more inches, breaks away.
so it is possible that more is underground. there are items there
for recovery, so we are currently re-processing permit to dig, and
just need one more signature.
however I have found that the original d3etails of the crash site
were incorrect. It was the landing site of my grandfather ,where he
bailed out. as i said, we have found the resting place now, but do
need volunteers, friendly and experienced faces who wish to offer
their time, resources. this has become a deeply personal project to
my family, and it has become a positive experience for all involved.
if anyone wishes to come forward to offer advice, assistance,
expertise, or experience, then please do email me! my new email
adress for this project is spitfire.boy@...
and a small site has been launched regarding the documentry,
Named Spitfire Boy you can find it on www.spitfireboy.com
God Bless all!
