Subject: [Wreck Hunters forum] spitfire mkvb/hunting do17
hello there all,my name is nicolaas van der kolk,i have just joined
your group and wish to get involved.my grandfather served in the fleet
air arm for all of his working life, including hms ark royal during
ww2.as a child we used visit him in dorset when he worked at rnas
yeovilton so i have had aviation in my blood for a long time.i live in
brighton and when i read that your group needed man power to search
for wrecks in kent[do17]i thought i would love to get involved.i am a
fit 34 year old with mechanical/construction experience and self
employed so i have time and can travel if need be.i am currently
involved in recreating aviation nose art on leather flight
jackets, this takes a lot of research to get group and squadron
insignia correct,i also like to track down photos of the relevent
aircraft, pilots and ground crew to authenticate my work.if you need
help searching/uncovering ww2 crash sites then please dont hesitate to
get in touch,i have the time and i'm in my prime for physical work.i
am very interested in helping with the spitfire mkvb and do17
projects.looking forward to your messages, yours nicolaas.
