Restoration takes time and money.
I know the individuals/groups involved in both vehicles (both of whom have other vehicles) and I am sure they would have loved them to have been finished three years ago.
Sadly, time and money are the problem (not necessarily in that order).
Both vehicles are owned by respected local preservationists and I am sure will be finished in due course.

I can assure you that 8501 is having work done on it, albeit slowly.

Both buses are a concern to me as they look so sad and urgently need

Also under the same arch is an AEC Regent III of Huddersfield
corporation 243 reg unknown.
