      I've created a detailed spreadsheet to show exactly how many bases of each type - command, skirmisher, redif, militia, mountain gun etc etc - you will need in order to play the Balkan Wars scenarios designed by Konstantinos, for the Ottoman, Greek, Serb and Bulgarian armies. (And yes, some Montenegrins too.)

      This is a dangerous document, so think carefully and beware before you read it - as soon as I'd done it I succumbed and ordered myself a Greek army, and I expect Serbs and Bulgarians may follow.

                Has anyone else beyond Chris and me play-tested any of mine and Chris's scenarios for the Balkan Wars? I hope to re-run Chataldza for the second time in July, and do one of the Serbo-Ottoman battles. My plan for a Prilep playtest this Saturday was wrecked by my landlord.

And Im too anal to use other troops as stand ins...I usually game with 15mm troops. Even my 15mm collections don't have the number of bases required for some of those battles too.
