Subject: [BCUK] Short Stories - Ray?
      Date: Thu, 30 Aug 2007 14:37:13 +0100

On 11th August there was a selection of short stories by Jay
McInerney, Nick Hornby, Rose Tremain, Jeanette Winterson, AM Homes,
Joshua Ferris, Yiyun Li and John Burnside printed in the Guardian
      Weekend magazine.

Is anyone interested in having a read of this?

      The stories are;
Putting Daisy Down by Jay McInerney
      'Smithy' by Rose Tremain
      Sweeping Past by Yiyun Li
      Peach Melba by John Burnside
J Johnson: A Writing Life by Nick Hornby
      Uncertainty by Joshua Ferris
Message In A Bottle by Jeanette Winterson
The Neddy Silver Story by AM Homes

They are all very short, I think it took me about 2hrs to read the
lot and I am a slow reader!

I have made a short review of each of them here -

I do know that one or two may be delayed owing to unforseen
circumstances, but I hope to keep these to an absolute minimum.
