Group Description

The Afedri SDR range of receivers are software defined receivers, based on the AFEDRI8201 IC from Texas Instruments, designed and produced by Alex Trushkin 4Z5LV.

The AFEDRI8201 IC, uses an 80MHz 12 bit ADC.

The Afedri SDR receivers cover the frequency range of 100kHz to 30MHz in normal mode and coverage can be extended from 100kHz to 70MHz by using the receiver in aliased mode. Connectivity to the PC is through a full speed USB 2.0 interface or Ethernet connection, depending on the model of receiver.

These receivers are compatible with: Linrad, Winrad, HDSDR, WRPlus, SDR Console (SDR Radio) etc.

The Afedri range of SDR receivers is manufactured in Israel by Alex Trushkin 4Z5LV.

The Afedri group was created to provide a general discussion forum for the Afedri receivers and associated SDR software applications.
