- May 21, 2005I had this trouble before. If you have the owner's manual with you,
there should be a code in the back of the book. The numbers should
not exceed the numeral 5 because you use the preset numbers to enter
the code. Once that is done, leave your radio on for an hour or so
and it should be fine. If not then take it to a BMW specialist. It
cost 70 bucks to get rid of that but you can save if you have your
