      Nutjob,

its an 85 US 535i with 150,000 miles. I was told I need to "re snug" the
head bolts on occasion, but I'm wondering how many Nm that is. Haynes says:

M30 six-cylinder engine (up to and including 1987 model year)
      Stage 1 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
      . . . . . . . . . . . . 60 Nm
      Stage 2 (wait 15 minutes) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
      . . . . . . . Angle-tighten an additional 33°
      Stage 3 (engine at normal operating temperature) . . . . . . . . . . . . .
      Angle-tighten an additional 33°

So I could at lest verify they're still at 60 Nm, but I'm not sure about the
      next step...

      Regards,
