RE: [bmw e28] Digest Number 846
- If you're after service/mechanical items, try GSF (www.gsfcarparts.com).
I've found their stuff so far pretty good (mail order is safest, but you
could try one of their local branches - see the website), a lot of it being
OE quality (just not in a BMW box). For trim/bodywork, ebay seems to keep
bringing up a fair quantity of E28 bits on a regular basis.
P.S. Anyone interested in a 525e with a very good engine?

Subject: Parts locating and running temp advice
Hi, bought an '86 520i and am looking for a few bits and bobs, anyone
know anywhere decent in the East Midlands i could try? Also, what
temperature is normal for the engine to run at? My gauge stays in the
middle when driving but moves inbetween hot and halfway when idling
after more than ten minutes driving. Is this OK? (bit of an engine
novice, sorry) Thanks for any advice.
