everything aligned it requires a couple special tools to re-align
everything. I have several photos that may help you. feel free to email me and I will

would like to do a manual transmission swap, I need a diesel flywheel to
complete the package. All the td cars here is the US came with automatics.

Jay, Thank you for your reply. This is the first time i've tried to do a timing belt on a 524td. Any info you have to help do this correctly is would definitly be welcome. I don't find any timing marks to reference, don't see normal arrows or dots for reference. I will pay for anything you have to insure I do this correct the first time. In your search for a flywheel, if you have a pic of the correct one you are seeking, or number, i can check with a local guy who says he has some 524td parts on hand.
        thanks for your reply.
