  • Arr Have you made sure that the head liner is fix properly? As well as the 6-8 clips at the front it has two strip guides it sits in a the back that pulls the lining up when on tilt. If it's sitting incorrectly it wont go back. I've been there and done it. Good luck. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

  • Easy. Open the sun roof about 4 inches a pull gently on the roof lining at the front of the opening. After unclipping all clips slide the roof lining panel gently back inside the hole. This will reveal six star bolts three either sid. A special tool is needed to fit them but can be picked up at any good auto shop. Slacken off the bolts that need adjusting and open a close the roof...

  • Cant help with the Panel but I have just replaced my Silver one. 1. Open the sunroof about 2 inches 2. Tug down the roof lining inner panel from the front. There are around six spring clips. 3. Slid the inner panel back into the roof space and this will reveal the 6 screws. Just reverse the process to install the new one. Tips, Spray a little penetrating oil on the out side of the...

  • Have you tried BMW themselves? I used to think that the would have sky high prices or even not have the parts due to the age. I was shocked when they said that could get any part for my E28 in three days and I found the prices unbelievably cheap, email me ajhbd@^$1 and I'll gladly give them a call.
