  • left the door ajar two nights ago. when i came out the next day there was a clicking sound from behind the speedo. jumped the car and suddenly the tach isn't working.   • hey everyone, i've got an 84' 528e and i'm having an issue. When i start it up cold the car fast idle's. during this time it runs fine. However in the time that it kicks down to normal idle and is up to temperature it tries to stall when idling. Once it is warmed up it idles fine.   • does anyone know of a source for plug wires? i don't want to spend the hundreds quoted so far. i only drive my 84' 528e lightly and for short distances to work, so it isn't feasible to dump that much into it after everything else i have spent. any suggestions would be great brain
