  • yes the gubio disk or more likely the carrier bearing between the driveshafts. put the rear of the car up on jcak stands, and rotate the rear wheels back and forth while in park to find the problem, also the front control arm bushings can do it if braking causes the shaking as well. good luck. and bavauto is a good source for decent quality parts. --- bigmac2x2 wrote: > I have a...

  • you may also have a bad fuel pressure regulator that is not allowing the pressure to build up properly and dumping the fuel back into the tank. i would agree on the clogged injectors, the 4.6l crown vic engines use ahigher flow but comparable lbs. injector that works well in an 2.5l or 2.7l and much cheaper as well. --- Automobile Solutions wrote: > Not a crank sensor problem as...

  • i have run across the same problem, it was the small connector hose from the rail fuel pump and the large filter on a u.s. model, i think when the car is shut down, the pressure that builds up backs up and causes the fuel to seep out there. take a look and see if there is a dirty shellack looking film around the pump... good luck. --- maca600ss wrote: > If I start my 528i then stop...

  • hey Dale, try the sunroof downtubes,i think 4 in all, they can flood the trunk when they get clogged. mine did the same thing, some flexible plastic or an old antenna will do the trick... --- dale antonio wrote: > I love my e28. but im having a problem solving the > mysterious moisture im geting in the trunk > compartment. i have checked the rubber seal, > reinforced it with...

  • hey Ron, try i.c.c. under the dash, and popped fuse for the same. e-30's do that all the time, it kills the sig. for the computer. happy motoring.
