Coventry and Warwickshire Astronomical Society
We are an active astronomical society who meet regularly starting at 7:15pm on the second Friday of every month (check programme for occasional changes) usually with an invited speaker. In addition we have observing evenings, meteor watching and exhibitions.
Meetings are held upstairs in:
Earlsdon Methodist Church Hall,
Earlsdon Avenue South,
If there is no one on door duty, please press the door bell, the one with the video camera in it, and someone will let you in.
If you have an interest in astronomy, either passive or active, you are welcome to join us.
Please also join this, our mailing list (Yahoo! group). We use it for on-line group discussion as if we were at one of our regular meetings. Use it to post questions, answers, inform members of events, observing evenings, star parties, meetings, seminars, conferences, workshops and courses, review books, papers, and have pre and post meeting discussion, astronomy discussion, items for sale or wanted, meeting arrangements and anything else deemed relevant.
The Yahoo Group also offers facilities for uploading files and photographs and has a calendar which you may like to make use of.
